About Harbor
A containerized toolkit for running local LLM backends, UIs, and supporting services with one command.
Hands-on take
AI-augmented · 2.5-flashHarbor is an open-source Code & Development tool ideal for developers seeking a no-fee solution for local LLM backend and UI deployment. Its one-command setup simplifies running containerized services for those comfortable with self-hosted or cloud deployments.
Teams prioritizing commercial support or advanced features beyond local LLM management might find Harbor too basic. For such needs, freemium alternatives like LLM App or Deep TabNine Local could be more suitable.

Full article ↗On December 7, 1941, the Empire of Japan launched a surprise military strike on the United States Pacific Fleet at its naval base at Pearl Harbor on Oahu, Hawaii. At the time, the U.S. was a neutral country in World War II. The air raid on Pearl Harbor, which was launched from aircraft carriers, prompted the U.S. to declare war on Japan the next day. The Japanese military leadership referred to the attack as the Hawaii Operation and Operation AI, and as Operation Z during its planning.
